We very rarely go a holiday in the summer holidays, we prefer going away in Autumn, but with Shannon being in her most important years at school now, we decided this year to go out with term time. My lovely sister-in-law and her family invited us to share their home in Toronto, Canada and we had the perfect mix of family time/day trips. I did take a lot of pictures (who me?) but will share my favourites here. I am aware that this is a public blog and for that reason, I won’t be sharing pictures of anyone whom I don’t have permission from. There was a huge amount of cousin bonding this trip, though and it was lovely to see the kids all enjoying themselves and relaxing with each other.
My first picture snapped, flying over Greenland. Absolutely stunning, there were actual real life icebergs
I have to get this one framed, I remember when I had a figure like this!
Katie at her happiest, snuggled up with a fur-baby
You could say I’m at my happiest taking pictures of fur-babies
I went on this with my neice and nephew, after it had just broken down!
This looks like a staged Disney picture, this is a look of shock as the hubby surprised me with an overnight at Niagara, with no children, best date night ever.
Cotton candy cocktail! I told you it was the best date night ever…
Not forgetting one of the most beautiful places in the world, Niagara Falls has a piece of my heart
This was my first summer visit to Toronto and it definitely won’t be the last. I know my sister in law reads my blog so huge thanks again for being our tour guides and giving us a summer holiday to remember.
